Vegard Aasen: “I define myself as a student, skier, climber and photographer. The last couple of years I have focused on filming and photographing action and extreme sports, as well as landscape and nature." I live in a small town called Sogndal, in the western part of Norway. I am 24 years old, and define myself as a student, skier, climber and photographer. I started taking photos when I was a kid. At first, I found macro photography fascinating. Getting shots of bugs, water drops and flowers. After a while, I bought a zoom lens, and started taking photos of birds and other animals. Later on, I started skiing and climbing, and my photography went in the same direction. As a natural progression, I started filming as well. The last couple of years, I have focused on filming and photographing skiing, climbing and other action and extreme sports, as well as landscape and nature.
