Brunton Icon: Accuracy on the Highest Level

Brunton places the new Icon binocular at the very pinnacle of binocular design. Not only with regard to price (ca 2200 Euro for the Icon 8x44 and 2300 Euro for the Icon 11x44) for this top-level standard but more importantly for its technical details: the Icon with 8- or 11-fold magnification and the 44 millimetres objective diameter captivates with optical quality, operator convenience and a warranty that will not abandon you.

The brand shows high-tech commitment to the detail: for the objective lens Brunton uses high quality EDglass with extra low dispersion for solid edge-to-edge crispness. Roof prisms made of SK glass and a Super Flat Light coating with Nano technology ensure a bright, clear image for the eyes of the beholder. The latching eyecups with the Twist-up System allow a simple adjustment of the eye relief and are also exchangeable. The additional eyecups with glare shields, which are included in the delivery, grant higher comfort – especially for the usage at the lake or riverside and on waters. For fast and also precise focusing the Icon has a Variable Speed Focus System. While it focuses slowly and very accurately on the first ten meters, it is a lot faster on higher distances. Thus, it covers the entire focus range very efficiently.

Brunton was established in 1894 by D.W. Brunton. The company is one of the oldest outdoor brands in the world. The brand still produces its legendary compasses in its headquarters near the Rocky Mountains in Riverton (Wyoming). Beside navigation instruments, the product range also includes portable solar panels and power devices as well as optics.
